Logic crash when connecting USB-C adapter on Linux

Hi,
While running Logic on Linux, it crashes when I plug in this USB-C adapter (DELL DA200): https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/product-support/product/dell-universal-dongle-da200/overview
I activated the logs with export ELECTRON_ENABLE_LOGGING=true, but there is nothing useful in the log. The app just crash with this message:

@saleae/electron/main: renderer process died { reason: 'crashed', exitCode: 139 }

I doubt it can be useful, but here is the out put of dmesg when I plug the adapter:

@fabien.bonneval Oh strange! I have some follow up questions for you to try and get to the bottom of this.

  • What Linux distro are you running on?
  • Can you share your machine ID?
  • Can you share the exact steps you take to reproduce the crash, including the order of the connections being made? When following these steps, is this crash 100% reproducible?
  • Does the same crash occur when connecting to other USB-C ports on your PC (if available)?
  • Does the same crash occur when connecting to another PC entirely, perhaps running a different OS? Iā€™m wondering if this issue is specific to your PC, to your Linux distro, or if it occurs on any PC.
