Hello all,
I am getting framing error in Asynchronous mode. The serial data is RS485. I am looking at the one of the differential channels.
I’ve attached a screenshot of both analog and digital signal. Is there anything I am missing?
Best,

Your signal is noisy, so I suggest using a glitch filter:
… if you cannot clean up the hardware signal itself.
Set the glitch filter to something less than the minimum bit time, or you will lose actual bits in the message. However, time must be longer than the longest glitch, or noise will still make it through and corrupt the digital waveform.
If you have a Logic 8/16 Pro, you can set the voltage threshold higher:
… but the values are fixed on Logic 8 (non-pro) version. With the new Logic MSO, you can set a custom level above the peak noise level, as long as noise doesn’t overlap valid signal levels (then you may not need the software glitch filter).
