“Saleae Logic Pro 8 USB Logic Analyzer” USB driver does not unload when cable to Saleae dongle is detached from my WIndows 10 Pro host. This causes the entire USB host stack to lockup thus preventing system from being shutdown for some 15 minutes.
I have completely uninstalled application and driver, and then reinstalled 2.4.14 but problem remains. This is a major problem since I have to wait for my laptop to recover from this bug before I can go home after work (hard power doen is not an option).
There are no traces in System-logs for why driver doesn’t unload.
@konsult Strange! We actually had another user recently report a similar behavior.
Can you share the following information for us?
- PC make/model
- Your USB host controller information: Finding Your USB 3.0 Host Controller Information | Saleae Support
- Are you directly connecting to your PC’s USB ports (i.e. no extension cables or USB hubs are being used in between)?
- Does the same issue occur on all USB ports on your PC?
- Does the same issue occur on other PCs?
- If you have a USB hub you can test with, can you confirm if the same behavior occurs through that USB hub? Please share the model of the USB hub you test with as well.
