2.4.41
Welcome to the 2.4.41 release of Logic!
Improvements
-
We’ve updated python extensions from Python 3.8 to Python 3.14. This is unlikely to cause any problems with existing extensions, but new extensions can now take advantage of the latest Python features.
-
The measurements sidebar panel now resizes more efficiently when the sidebar width is resized.
-
When saving a file, calibration data for the device is now embedded into the file, so it can be loaded on a machine without internet access that does not already have the required calibration data loaded.
-
Improved the error message details when using the automation API and accidentally trying to add an analyzer that does not exist.
-
The analyzer data table export settings now persist, making it faster to repeatedly export protocol results with the same settings.
Fixes
-
Fixed issue where the device connection progress bar was not being displayed.
-
Fixed issue where if the software was left running with a Logic MSO attached on a MacOS machine, when the system woke from sleep, many new tabs would be open.
-
Fixed issue where the “live” button appeared when recording in trigger mode with Logic MSO using a digital trigger channel. The “live” button only applies to free-run and timer capture modes.
-
Fixed issue where if a protocol analyzer was running in a looping capture, and that capture reached the circular buffer size and trimmed data, the analyzer might not export properly.
-
Fixed issue where the bottom right time offset control would not function properly when using Logic MSO in timer mode and free-run mode.
-
Fixed issue where it was not possible to see the tooltip on an analyzer frame on the graph if it was behind the vertical trigger line.
-
Fixed issue where the Logic MSO cursors position and enabled state was not persisted in saved captures.
