I’ve just published a “Burst Stats” extension that treats bursts of activity as events and generates period measurements based on the burst events. This is useful for tasks like measuring jitter on ADC unloading where just access to the SPI signals is available, or other situations where short bursts of high frequency transitions are separated by relatively long idle periods and measurements of the burst repetitions is desired.
