Unable to Set Zoom Beyond 500s in v2.4.27

Hello Saleae Team and Community,

I’ve encountered an issue with the latest Logic 2 software (version 2.4.27). After updating, I can no longer zoom out beyond 500 seconds in the timeline, whereas older versions (e.g., 2.4.22) allowed zooming up to 3000 seconds or more. This limitation severely impacts the analysis of long-duration captures (e.g., over 1 hour), which was previously straightforward.

Questions:

  1. Is this a deliberate change in the software, or could it be a bug?
  2. Are there hidden settings or workarounds to adjust the zoom limit back to previous ranges?
  3. If this is a permanent change, are there plans to reintroduce extended zoom functionality in future updates?

@Wladek Sorry about the limited zoom capability in the latest v2.4.27 update! This was unintentional and we’re looking to solve this in the next release. The unintentional zoom limit is a bug that we recently discovered as well. We don’t have an estimated release date to share for the latest update, however, you can download our previous version of the software from the link below which should not have this limit implemented.
