Welcome to the 2.4.36 release of Logic!
Much like the last public release, 2.4.29, the team has still been focusing primarily on still unreleased functionality. Releases 2.4.30 through 2.4.35 were released through our private alpha program.
The release notes below include all changes since the 2.4.29 release.
New Features
- Search in Extension Marketplace: We added a search bar to the Extensions tab - finally!
Usability Improvements

Adjusted how digital edge navigation (Next/Previous Edge) behaves to make it more intuitive.

Smoothed out the auto-panning behavior when dragging a range measurement past the edge of the timeline.
Keyboard Shortcuts
We’ve cleaned up shortcut behavior to avoid conflicts with the native application menu and to make zooming more intuitive:

Alt
is no longer used as a shortcut modifier (it caused some frustrating focus issues). -
Marquee XY Zoom is now the default:

JTAG Analyzer

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where combinations of keys would conflict with range measurement mode.

Protocol bubbles now remain visible even when zoomed out significantly.

Analog channels now open with better default zoom and pan settings.

Fixed a bug where capture behavior could break when the Logic 2 window was in the background.

Fixed scrolling issues in the capture notes sidebar - you can now reach the bottom reliably.

Fixed a regression where zooming out vertically too far made it impossible to zoom back in.

Drop-downs now open upward if there’s no space below - no more off-screen menus!

Sidebar margins are now tighter to make better use of space on narrow windows.

Fixed a rare issue where starting marquee zoom with
Shift
could break range measurement. -
Fixed a bug that caused analyzer data tables to get stuck at 50% (especially when reusing multiple analyzers).

Improved animation when auto-scrolling to a newly added channel (makes it easier to spot what’s changed).

Fixed glitch filter settings not persisting correctly.

Fixed an issue when toggling measurements on and off in the V2 measurements system.
