@dennis Sorry about your posts getting take down! It looks like Discourse (our forum platform provider) is fairly aggressive with marking posts as spam when it contains links that have previously been posted.

I ended up easing that threshold, and also manually added github to the allow list. I also unflagged your previous posts.

I was able to reproduce the issue with @Oleksii 's capture file.

it commits those concatenated bytes back to the API. In your case, the capture ends before the timeout, so there is nothing that makes the extension commit the current message.

In order to fix it, we would have to detect the end of input and after the last frame commit the current message if it’s not empty. This could happen at the very end of the python file. But I am not sure how we would know when decode() is called for the last time.

The points you brought up above seem correct, and to my best recollection, we don’t have a way of detecting when the HLA reaches the end of the capture. Unfortunately, I don’t think we have a workaround for this, but I’ll discuss this with the team here and will let you know otherwise.
