I’m using a Logic 8 to monitor digital lines in a circuit that actually switch between 2V and 3.3V. I can’t use the digital input because the (fixed) threshold is too low, so I’m using analog capture, which is fine.
I’d like to trigger on that analog input, through (e.g. “trigger when value rises above 3V”). How can I do this? If it isn’t in the native software, could an extension add this ability?
@griscom Thanks for writing in! Triggering via analog channels is not supported by our current-gen products (Logic 8, Logic Pro 8, and Logic Pro 16). We do not have capability to add this feature via extensions either.
One feature request we are currently tracking is to add the ability to convert analog recordings to digital waveforms perhaps via a selectable threshold in software. This is not on the roadmap right now, but we are tracking this below (I’ve added a comment there to note your request).
Apologies we don’t have an immediate software solution for you to work around this limitation.
