Cout debug of custom analyzer?

hi,

when developing a custom analyzer, is it possible to see prints to stdout somewhere? ( I have tried starting on cmd line, I don’t seem to see anything - also I looked in log files …)

how does one write to debug log? would also be nice.

It would be quite handy for quick debug without having to load up a debugger.

(edit - ok, I was able to do this with no problem just by starting Logic from the command line. thank you!)

Yes there is, but it took me a while to find it.

I am not at my computer right now, but I believe there is a button or "…"menu somewhere on the right UI panel when inspecting the analyzer. If you see the list of data points on the right, the button to open a log view window terminal in Logic 2 is located somewhere around there.
