Long time embedded engineer. I spend too much time on small systems, close to I2C and SPI interfaces. I have coded I2C in bit banged assembly language, verilog and then lazily sat on top of 3rd party libraries that take care of DMA transfers for me.

Over the last 6 years I’ve come to find the Saleae an invlauable companion to my TotalPhase Beagle, and a good replacement for an MSO in most cases. I still have more to learn about the HLA extensions for this great tool.
