It would be a great feature if we could define a trigger for incoming data during continous recording, for example an I2C start condition, so the view instead of scrolling is focussed on the most recent packet that got sampled.

Hey @radicdotkey, welcome to our forum! 🙂

I agree, and it’s one of our [most requested features](https://ideas.saleae.com/b/feature-requests/trigger-on-protocol-results/). We’ve been working hard on improving the app performance first in order to keep up with the data in real-time.

We’re planning to add protocol triggers this quarter!

Our 3 main goals for this quarter are:

1. Performance (almost done)
2. High-Level Analyzers V2
3. Continuous triggers for protocols, digital, and analog data.
