# Masking on analog channels

Hi,  
I have looked everywhere to see if it is possible to do masking on analogue channels within the Logic2 software. Have I just not found it or is it not possible?  
Alternatively, would it be possible in the near future to write custom analysers for the analogue channels? ( Meaning one could write a masking analyser for oneself.)

@rachel8 Thanks for reaching out! Also, apologies for the late reply. We had some folks out of office during the past week.

Our software currently doesn’t provide any post-capture transformative capabilities on analog channel recordings. Can you share more details about what kind of masking you were looking to perform? We’d love to know more about your use case!

We also don’t provide a means of adding analyzers to analog recordings for the purposes of decoding, however, we’re tracking this feature request in the link below.
