# Logic 2.4.22 Trouble Running Salae Software on NixOS

I’m having difficulty getting Salae software to work on NixOS. Although it’s not officially supported, I believe it should work since all the necessary dependencies are available. The software launches without errors, but I only see the “Unable to connect to socket” error on the start screen.

Dependencies I installed

@Daaboulex Sorry for the trouble with that! We have a couple workarounds for the “Unable to connect to socket” error on Linux.

Could you give these a try and let me know the results?
